After three years of work, the BodyPass project is close to an end and the project partners are delighted to share the main results in the free event “The Future of 3D Human Body Data for Health and Industry” that will be held on the 3rd of December 2020. This event will be conducted in an online format and it is addressed to companies, professionals, and institutions interested in the application of 3D human body data for health and product design.
The sessions will gather experts from different European countries and disciplines in order to tackle the most relevant topics related to 3D human body data such as technologies for processing this kind of data, applications for health, product design and retail, the use of blockchain for a secure exchange, and data protection of 3D personal data. The program includes general sessions and two parallel tracks focused on health and industry.
In order to offer the best experience before and during the event, we are using Whova, an award-winning platform for virtual events. The platform allows attendees to edit their profiles, interact with other participants before and during the event, create personal agendas and set reminders, ask questions or leave comments during the sessions, take down notes, etc.
The event is organized by the Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) and INCLIVA in collaboration with ATOS, ELSE Corp, Istituto Auxologico Italiano, Philips, and P&R Têxteis, partners of the BodyPass project.
