Bodypass has reached the project midterm. The consortium has presented the preliminary results during the review to the project officer and the technical reviewers. Currently, the main achievements include:
BODYPASS project as one of the EU-funded projects in the Big Data domain will be present at the BDV PPP Summit, the primary event for driving European innovation in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. The event will take place on June 26-28 in Riga, at the National Library of Latvia.
BODYPASS will participate in the session "Interoperability as an enabler of the data economy". During the session, BODYPASS will explain the solutions to exchange data from the healthcare sector and the consumer goods sector.
The main objective of BodyPass is to foster exchange, linking and re-use, as well as to integrate 3D data assets from the two sectors. For this, BodyPass has to adapt and create tools that allow a secure exchange of information between data owners, companies and subjects (patients and customers). During the last meeting in Madrid, the partners demonstrated the first versions of the software to exchange and anonymize the 3D data. This software automatically detects and eliminates facial features that identify individuals.
P&R was distinguished with the 2018 Business Excellence Award in the Innovation Category.
In a joint initiative promoted by CENIT and ANIVEC, these Awards, which are in the second edition, aim to recognize the work developed by the Portuguese companies in the Clothing Industry, which most stood out in 2018, in different areas of activity.
